Magic Jack Review
Overview:
This product works exactly as advertised. I could hardly believe that you could get such a value in telephony. The voice quality when calling from the Magic Jack is excellent. The voice received by the Magic Jack is good but odd, the background static and noise is gone and you just get a clear voice talking.
There's many uses for a product like this but it does need to be hooked up to a running computer so you'd have to leave it on all the time to have a telephone 24/7 and some people do that. I'm thinking of just using it as a business phone and lettting it be idle when I shut down the computer in early evening but I haven't decided for sure yet.
Do you have any teenage children who would like to have their own phone? Just get them a Magic Jack for Christmas and the phone bill for it will be $19.95 a year, you can't beat that.
